Friends and Neighbors,
There is a very odd mood in the air this year and I must say, everything I hear from the pundits is contradicted in my day-to-day conversations with people here in our community. I haven’t met anyone yet who thinks “NO” constitutes a policy for helping solve the problems we face.
The folks I talk to are looking for a simple, straight-forward dialogue about the serious challenges we face. They recognize real leadership offers a vision and solutions that are worth trying. This is a year in which our community is looking for new leadership they can trust; leadership that listens, that understands you can’t spend a dollar to save a penny; leadership that knows that failed policies need to be changed, not repeated.
The community is looking for leaders like our candidate, Rich Welch.
I invite you to check out his website, www.welch4wt.com, and to come join us on Saturday, August 29, 4pm – 8pm, at the Kevin M.Walsh Parade and Fireworks Festival. We will be marching in the Parade in support of Rich, and we welcome anyone who would like to join us in the parade, or stop by our booth afterward.
All the best,
Sally
